Student flea market with bicycle auction! (26 July 2024)
When and what?
On Friday, 26 July 2024, students will have the opportunity to sell their trinkets or get some low-cost items themselves from 15:00 to 20:00. At 16:00 there will also be a bicycle auction accompanied by the AK Fahrradcampus. The bikes can be viewed beforehand. There will also be a small information stand on sustainable textile consumption.

Roter Platz on Campus South (KIT)
Wie?
Registration per E-Mail to flohmarkt@asta-kit.de: name + whether a table is needed (limited capacity!) + further info and questions
There will be up to 50 stands, no stand fee, you are welcome to bring your own tables, otherwise beer tables and benches will also be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own pavilions or tents.
What can be sold?
Household goods, textiles, study stuff, bicycle stuff, DVDs/CDs/media/... and much more.
Bicycle auction?
- bicycles will be provided by the Studierendenwerk, these are in different conditions
- Private bikes can also be purchased or auctioned:
For bidders: You want to purchase/ bid for a bike?
- No prior registration needed
- Bikes can be viewed from 15:00 on
- Bidding must be clearly recognisable. (Bidding goes in 5€ steps)
For vendors:: You want to auction a bike?
- Prior registration is not necessary BUT the bike must be on site by 15:00 latest, so that it can be inspected by bidders.
- If you wish, you can set the starting value.
This flea market is organized by the sustainability council of the student body (Nachhaltigkeitsrat) with help from the AK Fahrradcampus.
