Get involved!

There are many ways to get involved, e.g. student groups, organize the Unifest (student festival with more than 10.000 visitors) or work groups of the student body. Feel free to attend meetings of the different groups or ask questions via e-mail to innen-gremien[at]asta-kit.de

This are some of the different spheres you can engage in. Some are more oriented to free-time activities (like many student groups, cultural groups, or dance courses and workshops from AKK or Z10​) while others are dealing with more deep-stuff for example projects concerning social or ecological issues (ecological-sustainability related here), committee work for tackling discrimination at KIT etc. There should be something perfect for you, so take a peek!

Furthermore you can participate in the "official committees" (a better overview of the committees of the student body and the KIT in English here), however you have to be elected e.g. by the student parliament first. Any student of the KIT is eligible, but sadly currently you should be able to understand German in most of them to take part in the discussions of the committees.
